West Indies vs India – 2nd ODI – India tour of West Indies 2019
The Indian Cricket Team is currently on tour for the West Indies and the United States during the month of August and September 2019 to play 2 Test Matches, 3 ODIs and 3 T20I matches. T20Is will be played first in United States of America. Sad news for Indian fans is that MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya will not play for India in this series.
This will be the first ODI between India and West Indies. It will be played on Sunday –11th August, 2019.Venue will be Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain,Trinidad Match will be held on 09:30 AM (Local Time). First match of this series will be played on this venue.
India won all T20I earlier. India did a clean sweep by beating West Indies in all of the T20 Internationals. But unfortunately 1st ODI could not be played due to heavy rain. West Indies played some overs initially but then rain was started. And match could not be completed. India will take on West Indies on 11th August 2019 in 2nd ODI. We hope that rain will not disturb the second One-Day International. India is in outstanding form since the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and they also performed well in previous T20I matches. India is even better team for one day cricket instead of twenty-twenty format. This match will be played in Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. There are couple of changes in the indian squad. Krunal Pandya is replaced by Kuldeep Yadav. Washington Sundar is out and Yuzvendra Chahal is in.
West Indies are blessed with a lot of match-winning players but Indian team seems to be more balanced. The Kohli XI have enough quality to win the match and also the entire series.
There are some changes in West Indies squad also. Shai Hope joined West Indies again after ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Keemar Roach will also join team again. Performance of West Indies wasn’t good in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and as well as in recent twenty-twenty series. Main players of West Indies are currently out of form.
It is being predicted that India will win this match if rain doesn’t disturbs the match.
The team Who Will Win the Toss is supposed to choose bowl first because conditions are moderate for cricket in Port of Spain. There will be huge amount of humidity in the atmosphere. Bowling team will get advantage of the bowling-friendly conditions. Bowlers can seek advantage of the extra seam and pace due to conditions.
There will be cloudy-sunny day in Trinidad on Sunday. Weather isn’t suitable for cricket. There might be light rain during match time. While temperature will last between 26 and 32 degrees. Hopefully, full length match will be played.
